OrthoPets Denver Clinic
Since its inception in 2003, OrthoPets has undergone dramatic growth, which led in early 2010 to relocation to a larger building and the creation of the OrthoPets Clinic.
Based in Denver, Colorado the building not only houses the Fabrication Lab, where all the Orthotic & Prosthetic devices are made, but includes a Small Ops. Theatre and a Pain Management & Mobility Clinic.
The technical side of the operation is run by OrthoPets founder, Martin Kaufmann, BSBA, Prosthetic/Orthotic Technologist, C-Ped. Martin began his career in Orthotics & Prosthetics after graduating, and worked designing, fabricating and modifying custom devices in the human field for 12 years before moving into Veterinary devices.
The driving force behind the Pain Management Clinic is Dr Patsy Mich DVM, MS. Patsy, who in addition to years in general practice, is a specialist in pain management and is actively involved in developing new therapeutic techniques.
Martin's wife, Amy, a Masters graduate, is the Clinic's Practice Manager and Finance Director, and has the arduous task of ensuring the smooth running of the entire operation.
The Clinic is staffed by a dedicated mix of fully trained, Veterinary and Orthotics technicians.
