About Us

Alison & Rod HuntGloucestershire based OrthoPets Europe, was launched in mid 2009 by Alison & Rod Hunt, as an evolution of their 10 years in the field of canine rehabilitation. As the European arm of Denver, Colorado based OrthoPets LLC, the operation is part of the team who have established themselves as industry leaders in Veterinary Orthotic & Prosthetic solutions.

OrthoPets Europe was spawned after working with OrthoPets LLC's Technical Director & founder Martin Kaufmann, on a UK based case to provide a stifle (knee) brace to address a luxating patella issue. The success of the case soon saw further collaboration, this time on a bilateral ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) case, which  ultimately led to Rod & Alison spending time at OrthoPets in Denver for  training in Veterinary Orthotic solutions and the subsequent formation of OrthoPets Europe.

DogsThe venture allows European clients to more easily benefit from the range of revolutionary elbow, carpus (wrist), stifle (knee) & tarsus (ankle) support solutions.

OrthoPets Europe have the full clinical & technical backup and support of the OrthoPets Denver Clinic, with video case conferencing with Technical Director Martin Kaufmann being a regular event. Frequent trips to Denver, ensures ongoing training and that product development knowledge is kept up to date.
